Years of field testing in the harsh Canadian winters and in the extreme heat of the worlds desert's have shown that the data quality and reliability on the HAWK9000 is equivalent or superior to all existing surface box units currently available on the market.

The HAWK9000 can be configured to monitor two pressure inputs, external temperature via an RTD and a 4-20mA input that can be used for a differential pressure sensor. With the optional Sensor Card up to two more 4-20mA inputs, two 3-wire External RTD's, and two turbine inputs can be added. These sensors can be sampled for up to 1 YEAR using one Lithium C-CELL battery pack. Depending on how the box is Configured you can have up to 696,000 or 1,392,000 samples per pressure channel.

With most surface gauges you need a laptop to download the information on the wellhead. To do so safely, since this can be a explosive environment, a sniff check needs to be done. Now with the Hawk you can use a Multimedia Card (MMC) that allows the operator to download the box WITHOUT using a laptop since the MMC is approved for use in hazardous environments.

The display can be setup to be always on, always off or stay on for a programmed time interval and then shut itself off. For added protection of data on critical wells, a password can be used to prevent unauthorized downloading or reprogramming of the unit. By using the MMC, data can be viewed on the display only when a MMC with the proper password has been inserted. This allows consultants to view the data without worrying about someone else seeing it.

All of Golden Canada's products are programmed and downloaded using the same software and interface box. Thus minimizing the amount of training time and equipment needed to use Golden Canada's products.
